In summary; I am well qualified and highly experienced. I work closely with parents and other professionals such as the Health Visiting Team, the Speech & Language Team, and the paediatric Occupational Therapists as required ensuring that each child receives the best care and education to help them progress as they grow and reach their full potential.
I have been selected by Shropshire Local Authority as a "Preferred Provider", this enables families with pre-school aged children with SEND (special educational needs and/or disabilities) to access mainstream education within their local community rather than travelling to Shrewsbury.
I have carried out a full access audit which is reviewed each year so that I’m able to adapt quickly according to specific needs and know who to contact within the Local Authority for support and help in accessing specialist equipment.
I have experience of working with children with Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorder, ASD, severe asthma and food allergies. I am willing to attend any further training as necessary to enhance positive outcomes for any child with additional needs. All of our routines and activities can be adapted to suit individual children.
I offer funded places for eligible 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
